AUDIO: Beadle – “No excuses, we were below par today”

19th August 2017 by Keith Hall - Audio,Latest News

The Hereford boss Peter Beadle says he accepts the result went against the Bulls today, but insists there was little between the sides.

Hereford lost to a Slough goal scored in first-half injury time, and despite going down to ten men when striker Mike Symons was sent-off, could have grabbed a point with a more upbeat second period.

Beadle maintained “We knew Slough were a strong side and are one of the top teams in this division having reached the play-off’s last term, and yet at times I thought we were better than them.”

“We will now prepare correctly and look to win six points over the two games next weekend.”
