With Saturday’s sell-out game set to see an increase in traffic trying to park close to the ground, we would like to remind supporters to park sensibly, and consider the local residents around Edgar Street.
Please note that there are a lot of road works in and around Hereford. For supporters of both teams traveling from the North (A49), please be aware that the Newtown bridge remains closed. Diversions are in place.
On a Saturday there can be lengthy delays in trying to turn off Edgar Street and into Blackfriars Street, and supporters are advised to avoid this turning if possible.
PLEASE ALLOW PLENTY OF TRAVEL TIME ON SATURDAY
Please ensure you follow local parking restrictions in the streets around the ground. We would recommend using designated car parks where ever possible.
Please ensure that you are considerate to the local residents at all times.
The Merton Meadow car park is a council owned car park located adjacent to the ground.
Herefordshire Council have today confirmed to us that they will open the overflow Merton Meadow car park which will see an additional 300 spaces available in the Merton Meadow carpark. Signage will be in place on Saturday. Usual car parking charges apply.
There are 600 spaces available in the Old Market Car Park which is across the road from the football ground.
Parking tariffs are as follows:
|Over 6 hours||£13.00|
The multi-storey car park is just a couple of minutes walk from the ground and offers 399 spaces. Click here for more information.
Our friends across the road at the Courtyard also have a big day planned on Saturday with two sell-out shows of their own. Therefore parking at the Courtyard will be limited.
