Jon Hale ‘Blown Away’ By Interest In Hereford FC

Speaking this morning, just a couple of days after Hereford FC launched its official website, Jon Hale said:
“The amount of interest we have seen in Hereford FC in the past few days has been extraordinary.
“We have been blown away by the number of good wishes and offers of assistance we have received since launching the website. We are incredibly excited by the reaction of supporters, but realise we still have much work to do to.
“I’d like to personally thank all those people who have made contact via e-mail – the good will we are seeing is remarkable. Please do not be offended if we do not respond to your message for a little while – as we’ve explained before, at the present time we simply cannot answer many of the questions being posed.
“It is also very difficult to speculate about the specific type of help we’ll need in the short or long term-future should our plan be given the chance to move forward by Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST) members and Herefordshire Council.
“It will be almost impossible to please everyone, but we are optimistic that we can work together with HUST to reach agreement on all the key points and address the valid concerns of as many supporters as is possible.
“We are taking a great interest in discussions on Fans Forums and on social media platforms because the thoughts of supporters are vital as we continue to shape our plan. However, there are still a number of unknowns we have to deal with which are preventing us giving more details from our business plan.
“As the whole picture becomes clearer we will continue to release information as and when we can, but we also respect and understand HUST’s need to liaise with its membership and do things democratically.
“Finally, on behalf of everyone involved with Hereford FC, can I just take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy New Year. I’m sure we all hope that in 2015 we can start to get football at Edgar Street back in the news for the right reasons once again.”
