Media Accreditation

MATCHDAY MEDIA ACCREDITATION AT HEREFORD FC


1.1 All media accreditation requests for matches at Edgar Street must be submitted via email to [email protected] at least 24 hour prior to kick-off.

1.2 Media accreditation will only be granted to WORKING JOURNALISTS OR PHOTOGRAPHERS. All photographers are required to have full Public Liability Insurance in place, and may be required to provide proof of such insurance.

Hereford FC takes no responsibility for loss or damage of equipment, or any injuries occurring to photographers or members of the public involving journalists or photographers, irrespective of causation.

1.3 All media passes will be granted at the Club’s discretion. Confirmation of media accreditation will be given a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the relevant date.

1.4 All passes must be collected from the Addison’s Bar Reception desk prior to the event. On collection, approved members of the press will be required to complete (in full) a “signing-in” sheet before being allowed access to the Stadium via the Media Entrance located via Turnstile 1&2 (C&D Block Entrance) situated close to the players entrance.

All press passes must be displayed so as to be in clear view at all times and must be presented to stewards when requested.

Media will be allowed to enter the stadium two hours prior to kick off. Any members of the press who require access to the stadium before this time should request access via [email protected].

Photographers will be issued with a hi-vis bib. This must be worn at all times, and then returned to the Reception desk after full time. Photographers are granted pitchside access, but must not pass in front of the dugouts during the course of the game or encroach closer that 15m either side of the dugout.

No tunnel access is permitted at any time.

1.5 Matchday programmes will be available in the Press Box, located at the back of the Central Roofing Merton Stand.

1.6 Official team sheets will be delivered to the Press Box approximately 30 minutes prior to kick-off. Photographers will be able to collect a team sheet from the corner of the ground next to Addison’s Bar (in front of Block D).

1.7 Access to the tunnel area at Edgar Street is strictly prohibited. Only Access All Areas pass holders will be given access (usually only the home & visiting press officer will receive this clearance).

1.8 Following the game, following crowd exit, written media and radio interviews (including video interviews) will take place in the press interview area.

Any interviews for television will be conducted pitchside, requests for which should be made in advance to the press officer.

1.9 The manager, or a member of management/playing staff appointed by the manager will conduct a post match interview. Further interviews with players are then at the managers and/or press officers discretion. All requests for interviews must be made through the first team manager or press officer.

1.10 The visiting team press officer will be granted access to the dressing room area to look after the visiting media requirements. If the visiting club have travelled without a press officer, the visiting team manager will invited to meet the media.


MEDIA INTERVIEWS AND PRESS CONFERENCES


2.1 All media requests for interviews regarding footballing and non-footballing matters must be made in writing via e-mail through Hereford Football Club’s Media Department ([email protected]).

2.2 Requests for player and or coaching staff interviews will only be granted after agreement from the First Team Manager. Unsolicited interviews are not to be undertaken with or by any member of the playing and or coaching staff.

2.3 Requests for non-footballing staff will be granted at the discretion of the CEO and / or relevant department head.
