Six months after joining Danish side AGF Aarhus, former Bull Mustapha Bundu is beginning to break in to the first team of the Danish Superliga side.
AGF Club Secretary Ole Hall told us:
‘Mustapha is doing well. He has made 3 appearances in the Super League for our club, coming on as a substitute in all 3 games, where he has shown his skills and that he is a good dribbler. During the preseason training camp in Portugal, he was in the starting line-up in the first game, unfortunately he was injured during the first half and has since been injured, but he will be back very soon, but I do not think he will be in the squad for the opening game of the Super League on Sunday.
‘He has settled well in the team and hangs out with some of the players of his own age.’
11th place AGF face 8th place Aalborg, three points ahead of them, on Sunday in the first game of the second phase of the season. The Superliga splits in half for the second phase, after a Winter break, with AGF still having a chance of qualifying for Europe despite being in the lower half.
