We’re delighted to be welcoming a number of special guests for today’s game vs Tiverton.
The Tiverton Spartan Ability Counts team is a football team run by dedicated Volunteers as a Socially Inclusive Group for Juniors, Men & Women with Learning, Physical, Mental and Sensory impairments.
The team are set to take on a local Ability Counts team in Hereford in the morning, before heading to Edgar Street to catch the action. We hope they all enjoy themselves!
We’re also pleased to be hosting members of the Welsh International Futsal team who are competing at Point4 in Hereford this weekend. In between their qualifying matches for the UEFA Futsal Euro 2018 competition, members of the squad will watch today’s game from the stands.
We’re also delighted to be welcoming Oliver Ricketts who will be enjoying the first ever Junior Bulls matchday Birthday Party! Oliver and his friends will form our Guard of Honour before the game, before taking part in half time on pitch activities. Happy Birthday Oliver, we hope you have a great day!
We’re also proud to be presenting a cheque to the Royal British Legion following our Poppy shirt auction.
The auction helped raise over £1,000 for the British Legion this year, and takes the total raised for the Royal British Legion from auctions and bucket collections at Edgar Street over the past two years to over £5,000.
We’re also pleased to welcome representatives of St Michaels Hospice to Edgar Street today. Over 40 bags of winter clothing was donated to the Hospice Charity Shop following our appeal for warm clothing to be donated to the homeless.
We were blown away by the response from fans, and were snowed under with donations. Any clothes not collected by the homeless on Christmas Day were donated to the Hospice for them to sell in their charity shops around the County.
