The Hereford manager Peter Beadle reflects on his sides 3-2 success at Wimborne Town.
Hereford had to fightback to remain top of the Evo-Stik Southern League South & West, but won the game thanks to a fine Calvin Dinsley strike in the second-half. Both Dinsley and fellow recent signing Jamie Molyneux scored on their full debuts for the Bulls.
Results across the division worked in Hereford’s favour over the weekend, with the Bulls win extending their lead at the top to four points. Mangotsfield lost 0-3 at Larkhall, whilst Tiverton, like Hereford, retained their unbeaten start to the campaign with a win over AFC Totton, but having drawn four of their opening 11 games, are now two points further adrift.
Hereford also have a game in hand over Mangotsfield and will be keen to further enhance their position with a rare Saturday home match against Didcot Town on 22 October.
Next up for the Bulls is a home tie in the HFA Challenge Cup this coming Tuesday, as Wellington visit Edgar Street. Kick-off: 7:45pm. Admission just £5 for adults and concessions, £1 for U-18’s.
