The Women’s match scheduled for Sunday has been postponed after the opposition informed the club on Saturday afternoon that they were unable to field a side.
Head Coach Ben Archer is taking the opportunity to hold an additional training session for the side ahead of away games at Welland Ladies and Meadow Park in the next two weeks.
Matt Aubrey’s Under 16 side have secured top spot in their Junior Premier League Midlands Central Division with a win over RTC Bham St Georges.
Morgan Evans led the scoring with Archie Muirhead, who made his Under 18 debut alongside Morgan in midweek, adding a hat-trick.
Tom Rogers, promoted from the Under 15 side, scored twice with Max Coley and Jack Rosser also scoring.
The Under 15 side lost narrowly to RTC Herefordshire but retain top spot with the top two set to face each other in April, while the Under 14 promoted a trio of Under 13 players into their Elite League game with RTC South Gloucestershire, putting in a strong performance that deserved more than a 2-0 loss with chances created but wasted.
With the Under 13 side’s scheduled game called off due to a half term skiing trip for the opposition, the Under 12’s lost in their Midlands South match with the overall performance showing encouraging signs for the future with coach George Leyshon-James producing significant player development over the season.
