Cricket Match Raises Over £1,000 For Charity

14th September 2016 by Jamie Griffiths - Uncategorised

The charity cricket match hosted by Eastnor Cricket Club, held on Sunday raised over £1,000 for charity, with the proceeds split between Macmillan nurses, Testicular Cancer Research and St Michaels Hospice.

The Hereford FC XI side included Jamie Edge, Jamie Willets, Joel Edwards and Max Harris and was cheered on by Pete Beadle, Steve Jenkins and Roger Lloyd. They ran out winners by six wickets.

However, the day was all about charity, and an auction of signed Hereford FC memorabilia during the tea break and a raffle on the day helped raised in excess of £1,000 for charity.
