We’re delighted to confirm that members of the 1972 Giantkilling side will be our special guests in hospitality this weekend, when The Bulls face Welling United in the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round.
Ronnie Radford, Collin Addison, Dudley Tyler, Fred Potter and a host of other players from the famous Bulls side who defeated Newcastle United in one of the FA Cups most famous giantkillings will be in attendance in the RE Resource Hereford Suite on Saturday – and you could be there too!
There are a limited number of spaces available to enjoy a pre-match meal along with the giantkillers, who will talk about their memories of that famous win, ahead of Saturday’s game, so book now to avoid disappointment!
You can choose from Fish & Chips, Steak & Chips, or a vegetarian option, all for just £9!
The giantlkilling squad are in Hereford this weekend to watch The Goal – the theatre production based on that game, and that goal in 1972.
An inspiring and funny coming of age story, steeped in 70’s history and local folklore, set against the backdrop of Hereford United’s famous FA Cup run and election to the Football League.
Six professional actors play a cast of thousands in a bittersweet, nostalgic comedy, filled with 70’s music, as The Courtyard celebrates Hereford FC’s greatest ever victory.
Whether you’re a theatre fan, a football fan, a Hereford fan or a 70’s fan, there’s something for everyone – you’ll leave feeling inspired, entertained, proud to be local and proud of your local football club!
