The Hereford United Supporters Trust is looking to extend its fund-raising initiatives ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The trust wish to form a working party to examine potential events and ideas, and hope a number of supporters will come forward to help in this process.
Tristan Edwards on behalf of the HUST board says ‘One of the many topics members have asked HUST to address is fund raising. This in terms of both increasing HUST funds for share purchase and in assisting the efforts of other key areas of the club identified by members.
‘Supporters may be involved in activities outside that can be considered in our case, or have contacts with other clubs that have successful enterprises. For example, we’ve brought ideas back from our recent visit to Kidderminster’.
Any supporter who would like to get involved is requested to make contact with the HUST board via email at: [email protected]
HUST is also delighted by the response to its first annual Fans Survey that was launched last week.
The survey is open to everyone, whether they are current HUST members or non-members, and hundreds of supporters have already completed this online.
If you have not yet filled in a paper copy of the survey, it is also available online at http://hustfanssurvey2016.questionpro.com , with paper copies available from HFC club reception, and at the HUST membership table on match days at the first two league fixtures on the 9th (Mangotsfield United) and 13th (Bridgewater Town) of August.
The closing date of the survey will be Saturday 20th August. Paper copies can be returned to HFC club reception by post ((address supplied at the end of the survey) or in person, to any HUST board member, or at the HUST membership table, prior to the following home matches:
Mangotsfield United – 9th August
Bridgewater Town – 13th August
Alvechurch or Haughmond (FA Cup Prelimary Round) – 20th August
