On Saturday we will be welcoming our main sponsors, Jewson, to the game against Boldmere St. Michaels as Match Sponsor on what is a very special day for them.
This year Jewson’s chosen charity is Macmillan Cancer Support and on Saturday the Hereford store are aiming to raise even more money for this very worthy cause. As well as having staff inside and outside the ground with buckets collecting donations at the game, Jewson will also be selling tickets for a competition they are running on the pitch at half time.
The three lucky winners will earn the chance to kick a ball from the centre sport to the penalty spot at the Meadow End, with the competitor who gets their ball closest to the penalty spot winning a Kindle and £100 worth of Love to Shop vouchers that have kindly been donated by Velux and Grono.
The second and third placed contestants will each win a Hereford FC shirt and tickets for this competition – which will be on sale at the game – are just £1.
The three winners will be announced during the first half of the match and it is important that each one makes their way to the nearest steward as soon as the half time whistle goes so the competition can start as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, Matchball Sponsor for the Boldmere game is Pasquill (www.pasquill.co.uk) – who are the UK’s largest suppliers of trussed rafters – and they have also made a generous donation to MacMillan Cancer Support. Also attending the game as Jewson’s guests in our hospitality suites are representatives from Velux, British Gypsum, Norbord, Recticel, Catnic and Polypipe.
We would like to thank both Jewson and Pasquill for their support, and would ask that our fantastic supporters give generously to a brilliant cause at the weekend if you possibly can.
