NEWS: Bulls Release Season Ticket Prices

30th April 2018 by Jamie Griffiths - Club News

Hereford FC has today announced its season ticket and matchday admission pricing structure for the 2018/19 season. Season tickets will go on sale at 10am on Monday 14th May online and from the Club Offices.

Having clinched a third successive Championship title, the Bulls have been promoted into the National League and next season will be playing in either the North or South Division. The club should discover the exact league they will be placed in when all the promotion, relegation and play-off issues are settled in the coming weeks.

While the club’s board have been discussing the pricing structure for next season, they have been keen to find a balance that rewards fans for their fantastic support over the past three years and also gives the management team the best possible opportunity to put a successful team on the field.

Although season ticket and matchday admission prices for adults and concessions have been increased to take into account a third promotion, the club has taken the decision to freeze early bird prices for Under 16s because everyone understands that attracting young supporters is crucial to the long-term sustainability of the club. An Early Bird U16 ticket works out at just 95p per game!

Speaking about the pricing structure, Hereford FC’s Commercial Director, George Webb, said: ‘We have had lengthy discussions about the prices for next season and feel that we have settled on a structure that rewards the loyalty of fans who want to buy a season ticket and also offers good value to fans who buy tickets on a match by match basis when compared to other clubs at our level.

‘Anyone buying a season ticket prior to the early bird deadline of July 1st will enjoy five free matches when compared to paying on the day at each game, which we believe offers excellent value. The savings for season tickets bought after the deadline are also significant and therefore, once again, we would encourage our supporters to buy season tickets if they possibly can.

‘I’d also like to announce that we are introducing family season tickets for the Specsavers Family Stand (A Block) for 2018/19 and I am hopeful this idea will really appeal to supporters. The early bird price of £510 (for two adults and two children) offers a potential saving of over £200, which I believe is a brilliant opportunity for supporters who want to make following their favourite team even more a part of their family life. Other options for family season tickets in A Block are also available.’

The Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST) Board has been sighted on the pricing structure prior to it being announced and the organisation’s Chairman, Richard Tomkins, has spoken positively about the club’s plans.

‘The coming season will be by far our biggest challenge yet.

‘The Supporters’ Trust encourages existing season ticket holders to utilise the early bird option and renew as soon as practicable. Income from season tickets helps the club plan for the season ahead with a more accurate sense of the levels of support it can expect.

‘Season tickets are good value and by buying them supporters will ensure funds are available to build a competitive squad. It is also pleasing to see the club continue its positive approach with prices for junior supporters, our next generation of fans.’
