After listening to feedback from supporters regarding season ticket prices for the 2018/19 season, we’re pleased to be able to offer a new price category for those fans who are U18 and still in compulsory full time education.
The new category will see 16-18 year olds able to buy a season ticket from just £84.00, which works out at only £4.00 per game. The matchday price will be £7 for a terrace ticket. Proof of age will be required when purchasing a season ticket or matchday ticket.
We’d like to thank supporters who have been in touch with us, many of whom have made very sensible suggestions regarding our pricing for the 16-18 year old age group. We’re happy to accept that we need to offer those fans who fall within the 16-18 year old category, and who are still in compulsory full time education, a better deal, and we’re pleased to now offer the new price category.
Commercial Director, George Webb said “after releasing season ticket prices for the coming season I am pleased with the response, which in general is a positive one.
“However, the feedback regarding the cost for 16 to 18 year olds is valid one. It was an oversight by myself when setting the prices for this age group and having listened to some constructive comments from supporters since the announcement, the board and I are happy to introduce a rate to encourage this valued age group to continue supporting their club”.
Setting season ticket prices this season has been a tough task; we’ve had to weigh up the need to be as affordable as possible to as many sections of our fan base as possible, whilst also being able to set a competitive playing budget for the National League North or South.
We feel that the prices we have set offer good value for money, and that our prices are similar, and in many cases cheaper, than other teams within the National League structure.
We’d urge as many fans as possible to take advantage of the fantastic ‘Early Bird’ offers, buying your season ticket early will enable us to provide a competitive playing budget for the coming season.
