Bulls Boss Peter Beadle recruited experienced goalkeeper, French- Cameroonian ‘keeper Joslain Mayebi after his recent departure from the Royal Eagles in South Africa.
A youth player at FC Metz in France, Mayebi has gone on to play in Cyprus with AEK Larnaca, Israel with Hakoah Ramat Gan and also the Faroe Islands with top-tier side Tvøroyrar Bóltfelag.
Mayebi has been called up to the National team on three occasions so far in his career; the Summer Olympics of 2008, a World Cup Qualifier in 2009 and an African Cup of Nations qualifier back in 2012. The 31-year-old has not made an appearance for his country so far, though.
An FA Trophy medallist with Wrexham, Mayebi provides plenty of experience to Peter Beadle’s squad both domestically and internationally. During his three seasons time at Wrexham Mayebi kept 33 clean sheets for the Welsh club in all competitions, an impressive record.
Martin Horsell and Joslain face a healthy, competitive battle throughout this 2018/19 National League North Season to ensure that they are the one selected in between the sticks come matchday.
