6ft 3in ‘Target Man’ Symons has enjoyed spells at several non-league clubs including Worcester City, Oxford City, Clevedon Town, Cirencester Town, Forest Green Rovers and most recently Gloucester City in the National League North in what has been a eventful footballing career.
Symons joined the Bulls at the beginning of the record breaking title winning season last campaign, scoring 24 times in 52 games. A truly superb achievement.
Symons spoke to the Press soon after signing with Hereford: “Pete Beadle gave me a call and said I should come down to Hereford to get the smile back on my face. Being 29, almost 30, it’s probably the best decision I have ever made.”
Bulls Boss Peter Beadle also spoke after the transfer was confirmed: “Mike comes with good pedigree and has a track record of scoring goals in a higher league than where we are at the moment. His strength and style of play gives us another option in attack, which can only be beneficial to the team.”
Symons is a talented striker who has a natural ability for scoring goals, a fantastic option for Peter Beadle up front ahead of the 2018/19 National League North season.
